I’m Becky Drury, Representative for District 34. After a move across town and a vacant House seat within my new home’s district, Governor Noem appointed me to fill the District 34 seat during the 2024 session.
Knowing the move was the right timing for us, I was deeply appreciative of the Governor’s appointment that allowed me to continue in my leadership role as House Majority Whip and serve District 34 for the remainder of the term.
As a conservative, common sense policy maker that strives to do what is best for Rapid City and South Dakota, the move from District 32 to 34 was virtually seamless.
Prior to being elected to State government, I held several leadership positions in and around Rapid City. It has always been important to me to give back and serve the people and community. I am a woman of integrity and my voting record reflects the priorities and values of the people of District 34, Rapid City and South Dakota.
It is my desire to continue serving District 34. I am asking for your vote in the Primary on June 4th.
